Cerestar, one of the worlds leading suppliers of starch and starch derived products for the food industry, has strengthened its presence in the US market with the appointment of a new Director of Market Development for polyols.
Dr Gerald Schwetlik, a polyols applications expert who has also worked building up Cerestar's markets in Eastern Europe, brings both technical knowledge and wide experience of the world starch market to the challenge of developing Cerestar's position in the US.
His role will include introducing Cerestar's revolutionary new non calorie, highly digestible bulk sweetener C*Eridex, the new polyol C*Isomaltidex (Isomalt) and the rest of Cerestar's extensive polyol line; strengthening support to the growing sugar free market.
